We're celebrating fathers with Donuts for Dads tomorrow morning! Looking forward to spending some focused time with the special gentlemen (including grandpas) who come here with their children. We have the greatest group of parents in town!
During Chapel yesterday, we read Thank You, God, for Daddy by Amy Parker. In it, Little Lion Cub talks about all the things that his father does to take care of him and his family and to be a help to his neighbors. The children seemed to enjoy it and were very enthusiastic when we sang our D-A-D-D-Y song.
Being a father to any child is an amazing calling. So here's to the dads, grandpas, older brothers, cousins, uncles, family friends and neighbors who love and support the children in their lives. God bless you!
