Our preschool serves children, ages 2-5
years old, and our mission is to nurture their spiritual, physical, social,
emotional and cognitive development. We encourage young children’s natural
curiosity and enthusiasm for learning in an environment that is loving, welcoming
and fosters a diverse, multicultural community.
Our curriculum utilizes play as the primary learning vehicle and prepares young children for
Kindergarten when they complete our program. Our students explore various concepts in all developmental domains as they move throughout their preschool day. Additionally,
we offer extracurricular classes in music, art, cooking and science; other classes are added as interest presents. We, also, have an on-site lending library where parents, grandparents and other loved ones volunteer to read for our special weekly visits. The children have the opportunity to borrow books and there is a small selection of parent resources as well. On Wednesdays, the children have Chapel which includes a Bible story or Christian-themed storybook, a simple song and prayer. This time is user-friendly across denominations and parents are always invited to join us.
All of our teachers are well-qualified, skillful
and creative educators who delight in helping each child reach her/his full
potential. And our administrators are strong leaders who maintain awareness of
the latest research and information regarding early childhood education. We
believe we have much to offer young children and their families.
